Looking back over the last five years, during my entrepreneurial journey, when I was running my boutique digital marketing agency. I can see many of the things I wish I had done differently. Join me as I share the 4 things I wish I’d done differently and the lessons I have learned when I had my 6 figure boutique digital marketing agency for 5 years. 

Here are 4 tips to consider implementing (I wish I had back then) to help your business run smoothly:

1. Do not cater to everyone.
2. Have clearly defined services. You do not want to lose track of your client’s end goal.
3. Take advantage of a project management system early on. The money invested is actually worth it. (PS. I share a few software suggestions for you in the episode today.)
4. Hire a mentor.

There are a lot of mentors and people in the online space, but they may not necessarily have walked the walk, so they don’t know how to talk the talk, so to speak. If you’ve been wanting to know how to find the right mentor for you, check out the following tips that will help you in the process:

1. Pick someone who has walked the walk with the necessary experience.
2. Pick someone who has the life you want.
3. Know that the person you hire is going to become very close to your business as a mentor. Make sure you get along with that person well
